5 Days, 5 Senses – Inspirational Writing Retreat
A journey of writing from the senses. An experience of creating with the land.
Step away from the noise and immerse yourself in five days of focused creativity at the Andalusian countryside. This retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect with your senses, and let nature guide your writing. Through taste, smell, touch, sight, and sound, you’ll explore new ways of seeing—and writing.
Experience candle-lit dinners, early morning writing rituals, and golden hour walks. You’ll harness your creativity through inspirational literature, on-site sensory prompts, and tailored writing exercises designed to help you write from, with, and through your senses. In a warm, inspiring atmosphere, you’ll be encouraged to experiment with your writing voice and connect deeply with the natural elements around you.
Our time together includes a visit to the village of Gaucin, where you’ll be invited to observe, reflect, and write in response to the surroundings. Evenings bring shared meals and relaxed conversations that nourish both body and imagination.
Our journey includes :
Guided writing prompts and exercises rooted in nature and literature
Immersive writing sessions inspired by the five senses
Candle-lit dinners and slow moments to savor
Quiet time to reflect, write, and connect with nature
A visit to Gaucin with space to write on-site
A supportive creative community and personalized feedback
